The staff were extremely polite. the room was individual and comfy in good condition. the hotel's location was near Kyriad, the excellent value restaurant, well cooked and presented, and the bistro was great.

Friendly staff and we enjoyed a really good meal in the restaurant.
It was incredibly difficult to find. Also, when booking we requested a cot for our baby. When we checked in, they said we had a room with a big bed instead. This was not at all satisfactory, although luckily we had our own travel cot with us just in case.

That was original and absolutely great hotel set in nice enough area, close to a dual carriageway as well as the Bistro Leon. We booked double room with direct access to the outdoors and appreciated it. Central location was a plus.

Updated rooms that are in good shape; they had a kettle, air conditioning, and a safe, which was a nice addition. ☕

Campanile has not kept up with the times, rooms very dated and basic. New menus very diappointing as they are uniform so hotels have lost their individuality

"Pressed out of a mould" campanile hotel....you know what you are going to get. Secure parking, good selection of food, very comfortable beds, quiet location but very easy to get into city centre
Restaurant service............didnt get what I ordered !! bath plug broken and sink plug missing. Toilet cistern dripped all night. Silly things that really should have been noticed and corrected

The room was great-sized and functional, with exceptionally comfortable amenities like an electric kettle and a fridge. The hotel is conveniently located near the city of Lisieux, Bistro Leon, and commercial center.- A Roman Catholic church is just 4 km away.

Breakfast and dinner were good value.
The hotel turned out to be on the wrong side of Lisieux for the business my son and I had in Normandy (clearing a house we had sold). So we only stayed one night. It's not the kind of place I would have chosen in other circumstances (like a Travelodge with better food) but the above is the sole reason for moving on.

very small room, when opening the third bed impossible to get to the bathroom, very unfriendly staff, actually a B&B on the highway for a night's stop over. Maybe acceptable for business travellers

I recently stayed at this hotel for a stopover during a road trip and I was pleasantly surprised by its value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the attention to detail and the basic amenities provided. The hotel is located in a low-income-industrial area by a transit road, which may not sound ideal, but it actually worked out well for me. The location was convenient for my journey and I didn't mind the early morning noise as I was already planning to leave early. Plus, the hotel itself was in a nice area in the east suburb of Lisieux, which added to its charm. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the rooms were in good condition with direct access to the outdoors. The breakfast option was also a positive aspect, providing a good start to the day.
All was just fine, no complaints whatsoever.
